Ok, I admit, I am a chocoholic! I love everything chocolate- tarts, cakes. Pastry, sweets, frosting etc. I am going to confess to you all- I literally eat chocolate frosting like ice cream all the time ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™Š

with the tremendous joy and deliciousness that comes with chocolate, so do calories, unfortunately๐Ÿ˜• so I am on a personal mission to decalorify as many chocolatey things as possible haha. So this is my first step towards freedom from calories ๐Ÿ˜…

Skinny Chocolate Cake

210ml Gluten Free Flour

1/4C maple syrup + 1/4C treacle (or you can use 1/2C maple syrup if don’t like taste of treacle)

80ml cocoa powder

2tsp baking powder

pinch salt

1/2C almond milk

2 egg whites

1Tbl coconut oil

2tsp vanilla essence

1/4C-1/2C black coffee

add extra maple syrup if batter tastes like you need more sweetness

Preheat oven 175 degrees celcius

whisk together coconut oil, maple syrup, treacle and egg whites. Add vanilla essence. Add dry ingredients. Mix. Add coffee, and almond milk. Mix well.

Bake for 20-25 mins till skewer comes out clean when inserted into cake.

And voila- skinny chocolate cake, done๐Ÿ’๐Ÿป This cake serves 12, under 100cals per serving- and easy peasy to make:)
